Korean Publishers Expand Global Presence at Bologna Children's Book Fair
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Publishing Industry Promotion Agency (KPIPA) are participating in the 2026 Bologna Children’s Book Fair to enhance the global presence of Korean children's publishing content. The event, held from April 13 to April 16 in Bologna, Italy, is the largest international exhibition dedicated to children’s and young adult publishing. KPIPA is operating an 'Author Promotion Pavilion' and a 'Korea Rights Center' to promote Korean picture books and literature, aiming to boost international rights sales. The pavilion showcases 109 titles from 15 Korean picture book authors, while the rights center facilitates business meetings between Korean publishers and international buyers.
