San Jose Firefighters Halt Progress of Ragione Fire, Traffic Affected
Firefighters in San Jose successfully stopped the forward progress of the Ragione Fire, a vegetation fire that burned between 0.5 and 1 acre. The fire was reported near La Ragione Avenue and Albanese Circle on Wednesday afternoon. The San Jose Police Department noted that the fire spread at a slow rate, and traffic in the area was impacted as crews worked to contain the blaze. Officials have advised the public to avoid the area while cleanup and safety assessments are conducted.
