TELUS Friendly Future Foundation Receives $1 Million Donation to Support Canadian Youth in Technology
TELUS President and CEO Darren Entwistle, along with Fiona Entwistle, announced a $1 million personal donation to the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation. This donation aims to expand the TELUS Student Bursary program, launching the Entwistle Technology Bursary. The initiative is designed to support underserved youth pursuing post-secondary education in science, math, and technology. The bursary seeks to remove financial barriers for young people committed to making positive community impacts. The donation builds on Darren Entwistle's history of supporting underserved citizens, including significant contributions to COVID relief efforts. The TELUS Friendly Future Foundation has awarded over 2,000 bursaries valued at more than $6 million to Canadian youth, with a focus on first-generation post-secondary students.
