The Atlantic Expands Editorial Team with Four New Hires, Bolstering Staff and Senior Editor Ranks
The Atlantic has announced the addition of four new members to its editorial staff: Ian Bogost and Gabby Deutch as staff writers, and Nick Summers and Talya Zax as senior editors. Ian Bogost, who has been a contributing writer for nearly 15 years, is now a staff writer, known for his reporting on Big Tech, AI in higher education, and American populist-industrial ambition, as well as his diverse cultural commentary. Gabby Deutch, an alumna of The Atlantic fellowship, returns as a staff writer after covering the 2020 election and misinformation during the pandemic for NewsGuard, and focusing on anti-Semitism and Israel's impact on U.S. political parties for Jewish Insider.
