Air Peace to Launch London Flights from Ogun's Gateway International Airport
Air Peace, Nigeria's largest airline, is set to begin international flights to London from Gateway International Airport in Ogun this summer. The airline's CEO, Allen Onyema, announced the new service, which will connect Ogun directly to Gatwick and Heathrow airports. The airport, equipped to handle large aircraft like the Airbus A380, will see Air Peace deploying its Boeing 777 fleet for the London route. The initiative has received approval from Nigeria's Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo. Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun has outlined plans to expand the airport's ecosystem, including the construction of a conference center and a five-star hotel, aiming to position Ogun as a hub for global business and tourism.
