Port of Lisbon Achieves Record June for Cruise Passengers and Ship Calls
The Port of Lisbon recorded its best June ever for cruise activity, with 81,735 cruise passengers passing through, marking a 53% increase from June 2025. The port also saw a record 37 port calls, a 32% increase from the previous year. This growth was driven by a significant rise in turnaround operations, where passengers begin or end their cruise in Lisbon, contributing greatly to the local economy. The first half of 2026 saw 302,496 passengers and 165 port calls, reflecting a 5% growth in both metrics compared to the previous year.
