Six Senses Announces New Hotel Development in Beijing's Haidian District
Six Senses has signed a management agreement with Beijing Zhongguancun Avenue Construction & Development Group to open a new hotel in Beijing's Haidian District. The project is part of the renewal of Liulangzhuang, an area recognized for cultural programming and international exchange. The hotel will be located on land previously used as imperial rice paddies, incorporating waterways and lotus ponds to restore the land's original character. The property will feature 75 guest rooms and suites, designed to reinterpret traditional siheyuan homes with a modern approach to courtyard living. Some accommodations will include private gardens and boat jetties, while others will share courtyards screened by magnolia trees. The hotel will offer wellness programs, including personalized wellness screenings, biohacking experiences, and the Sleep With Six Senses program.
