Rotterdam Film Festival Introduces Safe Harbour for At-Risk Filmmakers
The Rotterdam Film Festival has announced the launch of 'Safe Harbour,' a program aimed at supporting stateless and at-risk filmmakers. This initiative will be part of the festival's industry sidebar during its 2026 edition, running from February 1-4. The program will provide selected filmmakers with mentorship and opportunities to present their projects at the CineMart co-production market. Four early-stage projects have been chosen to participate, with filmmakers receiving tailored support to enhance their project materials for market participation.
