Oklahoma Corporation Commission Schedules Hearing for Drilling and Spacing Units in Garfield County
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has scheduled a hearing for September 21, 2026, concerning an application by Dakota Exploration LLC. The company is seeking an order to establish a 640-acre dewatering drilling and spacing unit in Section 2, Township 22 North, Range 3 West, Garfield County, Oklahoma. This unit is intended for the Mississippi Chat common source of supply. The proposed order would permit a well to be located anywhere within the unit, provided it is no closer than 660 feet to the unit boundary. Dakota Exploration LLC is also requesting that the order be made effective on a date prior to its official signing.
