Viola Davis Donates $1.2 Million to Central Falls Community Center
Actress Viola Davis, along with her husband Julius Tennon, has donated $1.2 million to establish a new community center in Central Falls, Rhode Island. The Mary Alice Davis Family Engagement Center, named after Davis's mother, will provide social services, educational opportunities, and community programming to local families. This initiative is part of the Davis-Tennon Foundation's efforts to support disadvantaged communities. The center will also house the Mary Alice Davis Food Pantry, which serves meals to thousands of Rhode Islanders each month. Davis's donation reflects her commitment to giving back to her hometown and supporting community development.
