W.E.B. DuBois Academy Opens New $62 Million Campus in Louisville
The W.E.B. DuBois Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, has opened a new $62 million campus, marking the first new high school building for Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) since 1968. The 185,000-square-foot facility on Poplar Level Road will serve over 1,000 boys in grades 6 through 12, consolidating middle and high school students in one location. The campus features career pathway classrooms, a hydroponics lab, and upgraded athletic facilities. This project is part of a larger JCPS construction initiative that includes seven new schools and renovations at 61 campuses.
