FoodTech Industry Revitalizes Northern Israel's Economy Post-Conflict

According to recent data presented at the 12th Food Innovation Conference at Tel-Hai University, nearly 40% of tech companies that operated in the region before October 2023 have resumed activities. The conference highlighted efforts to re-establish the Galilee as a hub for AgriFoodTech innovation, with initiatives to attract both returning and new companies. The opening of the NIS 30 million FoodTech Boulevard in Kiryat Shmona marks a significant step in this direction, providing a space for scientific research, technological development, and industry collaboration. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to position the Galilee as a leader in food and agriculture innovation, with a focus on sustainability and food security.
