Australian Diver Killed by Great White Shark in Fatal Attack
A 38-year-old diver was fatally attacked by a great white shark while spearfishing off Rottnest Island, Australia. The incident marks the second fatal shark attack in the country this year. The victim, identified as Steven Mattaboni, was bitten on the legs near a dive boat and could not be resuscitated by paramedics. This attack follows a series of shark incidents in Australia, with scientists attributing the rise in attacks to crowded waters and changing migratory patterns due to rising ocean temperatures.
