Bosch Fuel Cell System Begins Bus Trials in Madrid
Bosch has initiated trials of its fuel cell system in a Madrid city bus, marking its first customer project in the bus segment. The system, using the FCPM C190 module, is designed for high-mileage routes, offering over 1,000km on a full hydrogen load with quick refueling times. This trial aligns with EU regulations requiring significant CO2 reductions from city buses by 2030. Bosch's initiative aims to demonstrate the viability of hydrogen fuel cells for long-distance public transport, potentially paving the way for broader adoption in the sector.
