Gigabyte Urges Users to Update Control Center Due to Security Vulnerabilities
Gigabyte has issued advisories for two high-severity security vulnerabilities found in its Gigabyte Control Center (GCC) software. The first vulnerability, CVE-2026-4415, scores 8.1 on the CVSS scale and involves insufficient input validation, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to write arbitrary files on the system. The second vulnerability, CVE-2026-4416, scores 7.8 and involves the EasyTune Engine Service, which could allow local attackers to execute arbitrary code with system privileges. Gigabyte has recommended users update to the latest version of GCC to mitigate these risks.
