Minor Hotels Expands with Anantara Somabay Resort Residences in Egypt
Minor Hotels, a global hospitality company with over 640 properties worldwide, has announced the signing of the Anantara Somabay Resort & Residences on Egypt's Red Sea. This development marks a significant step in the company's strategic expansion in Egypt. The resort, scheduled to open in May 2030, will feature 300 hotel rooms and 150 branded residential units. Located within the Somabay masterplan, the resort aims to blend refined hospitality with private living. It will offer a variety of accommodations, including sea-view and lagoon rooms, beach and pool villas, and a Grand Royal Beach & Pool Villa. The development will also include a vibrant dining and social scene, as well as wellness, leisure, and family facilities.
