James Van Der Beek's Friends Launch Fundraiser Following Actor's Death
Following the death of actor James Van Der Beek, his friends have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to support his wife and children. Van Der Beek, who passed away from colorectal cancer, had been battling the disease since 2023, which placed a significant financial burden on his family. The fundraiser aims to cover essential living expenses, bills, and the children's education. Within two hours of its launch, the campaign raised over $200,000. Previously, Van Der Beek had auctioned memorabilia to help with medical costs, and his former co-stars had organized a benefit event. Actor Paul Walter Hauser also contributed by raising funds through Cameo.
