Notion Restores Access to Anthropic Models After Technical Glitch Affects Users
Notion experienced a technical issue over the weekend that affected its integration with Anthropic's AI models, Opus 4.7 and 4.8. This led to increased errors for users of Notion AI. In response, Notion temporarily suspended the use of all Anthropic models. Max Schoening, head of product at Notion, announced that services were restored after twelve hours. The glitch was attributed to a short-term infrastructure issue, as confirmed by an Anthropic representative. The incident was clarified as a technical outage, not related to model quality, and similar to outages experienced by other major platforms like GitHub and AWS.
