Rajant Corporation Acquires Bellwether Group to Expand into U.S. Military Defense Contracts
Malvern-based Rajant Corporation, known for its Kinetic Mesh wireless communications technology, has acquired The Bellwether Group, a military and intelligence contractor. This acquisition is a strategic move by Rajant to significantly increase its involvement in U.S. defense and national security work. The Bellwether Group was founded by Tim Teal and Shana Teal, a married couple with extensive careers in cyber and technology, both holding 'top secret' clearances. Tim Teal, a Navy veteran with experience at the National Security Agency, U.S. Cyber Command, and the Cyber National Mission Force, has been appointed Rajant's chief mission and capability officer. Shana Teal, an information scientist with a doctorate in information technology and government experience requiring high-level clearances, is now chief scientist. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
