Tragic Death of Homeless Woman in Louisville Sparks Investigation and Legal Action
Tyrah Adams, a homeless woman in Louisville, Kentucky, tragically died after being picked up and crushed by a garbage truck claw during a routine cleanup. The incident occurred on February 12, and city officials initially described her death as a 'tragic loss.' However, family attorney Stephanie Rivas plans to file a lawsuit against the city, alleging negligence in the handling of the cleanup operation. The Louisville Metro Police Public Integrity Unit is investigating the incident, as it involved a city vehicle. Witnesses reported that the truck operator did not inspect the area before the cleanup, leading to Adams being inadvertently picked up and crushed.
