Rep. Kamlager-Dove Launches Bipartisan MoMEntS Caucus to Champion Creative Economy
Representative Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-CA) has officially launched the Movies, Music, Entertainment, & Sports (MoMEntS) Caucus in a bipartisan effort to advocate for the nation's creative and entertainment sectors. Co-chairing the caucus are Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-FL) and Rep. Troy Carter (D-LA). The caucus aims to educate and engage Members of Congress on the significant economic and cultural contributions of these industries. According to Rep. Kamlager-Dove, America's creative and entertainment sectors generate over $1 trillion annually and support more than five million jobs. The MoMEntS Caucus will focus on advancing policies that strengthen workforce pathways, protect creative rights, support innovation, competition, and responsible platform practices, and encourage U.S. cultural exchange globally.
