ESPN Documentary Honors Youngest FDNY Firefighter Killed on 9/11, Featuring Little League International CEO Patrick Wilson
ESPN's latest E60 documentary, titled 'Living On: The Michael Cammarata Story,' highlights the life and legacy of Michael Cammarata, the youngest FDNY firefighter killed during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Cammarata, a Staten Islander, was 22 years old when he died. The 30-minute documentary, produced and directed by Gus Pfisterer, premiered on August 19, coinciding with the opening day of the Little League World Series and weeks before the 25th anniversary of 9/11. It features interviews with Cammarata’s family, friends, former teammates, and fellow firefighters, including his brother Joe, father Joseph, sister Kim, and best friend James Corson. Former MLB pitcher Jason Marquis, a teammate and friend of Cammarata, also appears, alongside former Little League International CEO Steve Keener and current CEO Patrick Wilson.
