StandardAero Secures U.S. Air Force Contract for Predictive Maintenance on F100-220 Engines
StandardAero, a leading aerospace engine aftermarket services provider, has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to implement its Maintenance Insight™ predictive maintenance tools for the F100-220 engine program. These engines power over 175 F-15 aircraft within the USAF fleet. This new award expands StandardAero's support to a fifth engine type for the Air Force. The Maintenance Insight™ suite utilizes artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital twin technologies to analyze engine failure modes. These tools, hosted on the USAF cloud computing ecosystem, provide predictive outputs that aid in work scoping, deployment planning, and preventative maintenance decisions. Marc Drobny, President of StandardAero's Military, Helicopters and Energy Division, highlighted the Air Force's leadership in predictive maintenance and expressed pride in the ongoing partnership, emphasizing the solution's ability to reduce maintenance costs and improve readiness.
