WalletHub Study Ranks Four New York Cities Among Healthiest in the U.S.
A recent study by WalletHub has identified four cities in New York as some of the healthiest in the United States. The study evaluated over 180 U.S. cities based on 41 health indicators, including the cost of medical visits, fruit and vegetable consumption, and the percentage of physically active adults. New York City ranked highest among the New York cities, placing 23rd overall, with notable scores in food availability and green spaces. Rochester, Buffalo, and Yonkers also made the list, ranking 54th, 55th, and 71st, respectively. The study highlights the importance of access to healthcare, green spaces, and healthy food in maintaining public health.
