Taylor Farms Recalls Lettuce Due to Cyclospora Outbreak Across 27 States
Taylor Farms, a California-based produce supplier, has issued a voluntary recall of its iceberg lettuce products due to a potential link to a cyclospora outbreak. The recall affects products shipped to 27 states, including Texas, Florida, and New Jersey. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported at least 1,645 cases of cyclosporiasis, with the outbreak linked to lettuce served at Taco Bell restaurants in several Midwestern states. The company has ceased sourcing lettuce from the implicated lot in central Mexico and is actively removing affected products from the market.
