Man Charged with Stealing Phillies Jerseys in Philadelphia Area
Matthew Ramos, 29, has been charged with organized retail theft and other offenses after allegedly stealing over $16,000 worth of merchandise, including Phillies jerseys, from Dick’s Sporting Goods stores in the Philadelphia area. The thefts occurred between May and June 2026, involving multiple incidents at different store locations. Ramos, along with accomplices, used vehicles to flee the scenes. He was arrested on June 26 after being spotted by police. Ramos has a history of similar offenses, and his accomplice, Derek Martin, is still at large.
