Increased ICE Activity Leads to Arrests at Logan Airport
Two individuals, Maria Rosales and David Ardila, were arrested by ICE at Logan Airport in Boston as part of increased immigration enforcement activities. Rosales, a Florida resident originally from Colombia, was detained while attempting to return home after attending a concert. She has been under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, with her renewal pending since 2023. Ardila, a Seattle-based DJ from Venezuela, was detained for allegedly overstaying his visa while awaiting an asylum decision. Both are currently held in Massachusetts detention facilities, with legal challenges filed to prevent their deportation.
