CBS News to Air 'Artemis II Return To Earth' Special, Adjusts Primetime Schedule
CBS News has scheduled a live special titled 'Artemis II Return To Earth', which will cover the return of the Artemis II crew from their lunar mission. The special is set to air on April 10, 2026, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM ET, and will be broadcast on CBS Television Network, CBS News 24/7, and CBSNews.com. The program will feature coverage of the spacecraft's re-entry and splashdown in the Pacific Ocean near San Diego. To accommodate this special, CBS has adjusted its Friday primetime schedule, shifting the start times of 'Sheriff Country', 'Fire Country', and 'Boston Blue'. The special will be anchored by Jericka Duncan, with contributions from astronauts and CBS News correspondents.
