Massachusetts Lodging Association Celebrates Industry Excellence at Annual Event
The Massachusetts Lodging Association (MLA) hosted its annual Stars of the Industry event at Fenway Park on June 2, 2026. This sold-out event, attended by over 450 individuals, recognized outstanding employees and innovative programs within the Massachusetts lodging industry. The event highlighted the dedication and service of hotel employees who go beyond their duties to enhance guest experiences. This year, the MLA introduced new award categories, including the Inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award and the Amicus Hospitum Award. The awards were distributed across various categories such as Community Service, Employee Relations, and Innovation, with distinctions made for hotels of different sizes. The event was emceed by NESN's Jenny Johnson and featured remarks from MLA President and CEO Christina Pappas and Board Chair Trish Berry, who praised the honorees for their dedication and passion.
