DSA Leader Gustavo Gordillo Resides in $1.5 Million Brooklyn Home Purchased by Parents
Gustavo Gordillo, the 38-year-old co-chair of the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), is reportedly living in a $1.5 million Brooklyn row home purchased by his parents. The property, located in Bed-Stuy, was acquired in 2019 for just under $1 million by Chucuito LLC, a dummy corporation, and has since undergone significant renovations. Gordillo, who advocates against private property ownership and criticizes landlords, has been observed residing in the extensively renovated home. His father confirmed that both Gustavo and his brother live in the house. This revelation has drawn criticism, with some local residents and observers labeling Gordillo as a hypocrite, given his public stance on anti-capitalist and anti-landlord ideologies.
