Suspect in 'Lovers' Lane Murders' Dies in Jail Before Extradition
Floyd William Parrott, the suspect in the 1990 'Lovers' Lane Murders' in Houston, Texas, has died in a Nebraska jail. Parrott was awaiting extradition to Harris County after being linked to the murders of Andy Atkinson and Cheryl Henry through DNA evidence and a tip received in 2025. The case had remained unsolved for decades until recent advancements in forensic analysis. Parrott's death, suspected to be a suicide, has left the victims' families without the closure of a trial.
