ICE Raid in Minnesota Home Results in Arrests and Community Fear
A recent raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at a home in Burnsville, Minnesota, led to the arrest of four individuals, causing distress among local residents. The incident occurred when a couple returning from a grocery trip was followed by ICE agents and subsequently detained. The raid, captured on a Ring camera, showed agents surrounding the couple's home and detaining the man. The woman, who attempted to hide with her 7-year-old son, was also detained. Family members allege that ICE agents entered the residence without presenting a warrant, a claim that has not been addressed by the Department of Homeland Security. The raid has left a 7-year-old boy without his parents, as they were among those arrested. The City of Burnsville acknowledged the federal immigration activity and noted that local officers were not typically informed of such operations.
