U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann Addresses National Cleanup Workshop, Discusses Nuclear Energy Future
U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, who chairs the House Appropriations Energy and Water Development Subcommittee, recently participated in the 12th Annual National Cleanup Workshop hosted by the Department of Energy (DOE). The three-day event, held in Arlington, Virginia, brought together DOE officials, contractors, regulators, state and local leaders, and industry representatives. The workshop's theme, 'Powering and Securing the Future Through Restoration and Revitalization,' focused on the evolving approach to environmental cleanup and leveraging progress for economic opportunity.
