Reading Hospital Hosts Event to Promote Women's Health and Self-Care
Reading Hospital organized a 'Grow & Glow' women's health and wellness event at Lauer's Park Elementary School, attracting mothers, daughters, and local families. The event featured free health screenings, self-care activities, and educational resources to encourage women to prioritize their health. Attendees could participate in activities such as yoga, massage, and CPR demonstrations. The hospital staff provided mammograms, answered health-related questions, and connected women with community resources. The event aimed to create a welcoming environment that combined practical healthcare with self-care, especially with Mother's Day approaching.
