Tens of Thousands Celebrate Israel Day Across U.S. Cities
The Israeli-American Council (IAC) organized Celebrate Israel festivals across the United States, marking Israel's 78th Independence Day. The events, spanning from April 23 to May 3, took place in 21 communities, including major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. These festivals aimed to strengthen Israeli and Jewish identity among younger generations and reinforce U.S.-Israel ties. Activities included cultural performances, food, and parades, drawing tens of thousands of participants. The IAC emphasized the events' significance amid ongoing security threats to Israel, celebrating the country's resilience and the strong U.S.-Israel alliance.
