Minor Hotels Expands Anantara Brand with New Resort and Urban Hotel in India
Minor Hotels has announced the signing of its first Anantara Hotels & Resorts properties in India, marking a significant expansion of the brand in the country. The Anantara Zanti Coorg Resort is scheduled to open in 2028, located in the UNESCO-recognized Western Ghats, and will offer immersive experiences and refined hospitality. The resort will feature 69 keys and include facilities such as dining venues, a swimming pool, a spa, and a wellness center. Additionally, the Anantara Kolkata Hotel is set to open in 2032 within the World Trade Center Salt Lake Kolkata, designed to cater to business and leisure travelers. This expansion is part of Minor Hotels' strategy to introduce its luxury and premium brands in key cities and leisure destinations across India.
