Dermatologists are drawing attention to follicular eczema, a subtype of atopic dermatitis that frequently affects individuals with darker skin tones. This condition often presents as tiny, rough bumps around hair follicles on the body and scalp, making it easily mistaken for other skin issues like goosebumps, dry skin, or keratosis pilaris (KP).
