Namibia's New 6km Gold Discovery Promises Economic Growth
Ongwe Minerals has identified a six-kilometer gold anomaly at its Nguni prospect in Namibia, with plans to commence a 5,000-meter drilling campaign. The discovery, part of the Omatjete Gold Project, shows promising gold levels, with samples reaching up to 1,310 parts per billion. The anomaly remains open in three directions, suggesting potential for further expansion. This discovery could bolster Namibia's gold sector, reducing its reliance on diamonds and contributing to economic diversification.
