Jade Shenker Challenges Guardian Over Late Father's New York Home
Jade Shenker, known for her role in 'Owning Manhattan,' was involved in a legal dispute over her late father's finances and property before his death. Shenker contested the actions of her father's guardian, Bonnie Stevens, who was managing his estate. The conflict centered around Stevens' refusal to provide Shenker with financial documents related to her father's New York home. Shenker argued that the guardian's mismanagement led to the need to sell the property, while Stevens claimed the sale was necessary to cover expenses. The guardianship was established in 2022, and Shenker's father passed away in April 2026. Shenker plans to conduct her own autopsy, as she disputes the preliminary ruling of her father's death as natural.
