Fresh round of severe storms targets Central U.S.
A renewed severe weather threat is set to develop across the Central U.S. starting Thursday, April 23, as storms form from Oklahoma to Minnesota with risks of large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. By Friday, April 24, the threat shifts into the Mississippi Valley, with the most intense storms expected across parts of eastern Oklahoma, southern Missouri and the Ark-La-Tex region. Storm activity may continue into Saturday, April 25, as an active pattern keeps severe weather risks in place.
