Severe Drought Persists in North and South Carolina
According to a report from WFAE, most areas in North and South Carolina are currently experiencing severe to extreme drought conditions. This prolonged dry spell has been affecting the region, leading to concerns over water supply and agricultural productivity. The drought has been exacerbated by lower-than-average rainfall over the past months, which has not been sufficient to replenish water levels in reservoirs and aquifers.
