Six Activists Charged for Damaging UAV Factory in Leicestershire
Six individuals, identified as Peter Jones, Michael Sackur, Megan Kennard, Seirol Davies, Rhae Rivers, and Hal Hockney, have been charged with burglary and causing criminal damage following an attack on a drone factory in Leicestershire. The incident involved the use of a van to ram the gate of the Tactical Unmanned Air Systems factory, which is located just outside Braunstone. The group responsible, People Against Genocide, claimed the attack was motivated by the belief that the facility is owned by Israeli defense firm Elbit Systems. The activists reportedly cut and tore into the roof of the factory to cause further damage. The investigation is being led by counter-terrorism police.
