Norway and UK Strengthen Defense Cooperation in the High North
Norwegian Minister of Defense Tore O. Sandvik and UK Secretary of State for Defence Wes Streeting discussed enhancing defense cooperation in the High North. The conversation focused on the Lunna House Agreement, signed in December 2025, which is the most comprehensive defense cooperation agreement between the two countries. The ministers emphasized the importance of strengthening NATO's defense flank in the Arctic and the High North to secure Norway and its allies.
