Workplace Curators have designed a new office for Khaitan & Co in Gurgaon, India, emphasizing minimalism and precision over traditional architectural weight. The design replaces the conventional heavy and closed chamber style with a more open and transparent layout, using materials like walnut, marble, and black metal to create a space that balances privacy and openness. The office features full-height glass volumes that allow for acoustic privacy while maintaining sightlines and daylight flow. The design aims to express the authority of the law firm through what is revealed rather than concealed, using transparency as a gesture of assurance.
