Goat Rescued from Alleged Santería Sacrifice at Miami Rapper's Home
A goat, allegedly marked for Santería sacrifice, was rescued from the home of Miami rapper Lazaro Lesteiro-Diaz, known as 'Drakula' or 'YungLazz'. Authorities executed a search warrant at his residence, uncovering ritual paraphernalia and a goat with sacrificial markings. The rapper, who had been posting videos of himself committing alleged financial crimes, was charged with animal cruelty, among other offenses. The goat, named Valor, was taken in by Miami Animal Rescue and later cared for by students at a local high school's veterinary program. Valor's rescue highlights the intersection of cultural practices and animal welfare laws.
