India and Canada Progress in Trade Agreement Talks to Boost Economic Ties
India and Canada have concluded the second round of negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), with progress reported in several key trade areas. The talks, held in New Delhi, covered topics such as trade in goods and services, intellectual property, and technical barriers to trade. Both countries are committed to a balanced and ambitious agreement aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations. The next round of negotiations is scheduled for July in Ottawa, with the goal of completing the agreement by the end of the year.
