Peter Falk's Daughter Jacqueline Falk Dies by Suicide at 60
Jacqueline Falk, daughter of the late actor Peter Falk, has died by suicide at the age of 60. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office, Jacqueline hanged herself in a Los Angeles home. The news was first reported by TMZ. Jacqueline and her sister, Catherine, were adopted by Peter Falk and his first wife, Alyce Mayo, after their marriage in 1960. Jacqueline largely stayed out of the public eye, unlike her father, who was famous for his role in the television series 'Columbo'. Peter Falk was married to Alyce Mayo until 1976, after which he married Shera Danese. Danese became Falk's conservator in 2009 following his Alzheimer's diagnosis. The couple remained together until Falk's death in 2011. Jacqueline's death highlights ongoing issues related to mental health and the importance of support systems.
