Springtime Blooms Across Cape Cod
Spring has arrived in Cape Cod, bringing with it a vibrant display of nature's renewal. According to the Cape Cod Chronicle, the region is witnessing the annual migration of herring in Ryder's Cove, where they navigate past gulls, herons, and cormorants to reach their spawning grounds in Stillwater Pond and Lovers Lake. Ospreys are actively building nests along the bay shore, signaling the start of their breeding season. Pleasant Bay Community Boating has launched its first tender, marking the beginning of its seasonal activities. Along Route 28, daffodils and other early flowers are in full bloom, adding color to the landscape. The presence of pollen, while causing some discomfort, is a welcome sign of the changing season.
