King Felipe VI Concludes Official Duties in Mallorca with Sailing Event
King Felipe VI of Spain recently concluded his official engagements in Mallorca, participating in the prestigious Copa del Rey de Vela sailing event. The King, who had just returned from Colombia after attending a presidential inauguration, took part in three out of the five scheduled days of the regatta. The event, which has evolved over the years from a social showcase to a high-level sporting competition, saw the Teatro del Soho San Miguel, led by Javier Banderas, win its ninth cup. King Felipe's yacht, Hispania, finished as runner-up in its class. The event marked the end of the royal family's official commitments on the island, with King Felipe arriving at the Almudaina Palace to present awards.
