With 283 data center projects and 79 endangered species, Virginia's environmental pressures are compounded by significant forest cover and drought risk. Georgia follows with a score of 65.46, driven by a high number of data centers and endangered species. The report highlights the growing environmental concerns associated with data centers, including land use, water consumption, and habitat disruption, as states like New York impose moratoriums on new projects to develop environmental standards.
